1. Overview
At Green Repairs Hub, we stand behind the quality of our repairs. Our warranty is designed to give you confidence in the parts we use and the workmanship we provide. These terms outline what is covered, what is not covered, and how to make a warranty claim.
2. Warranty Coverage
2.1 Parts and Labour
All repairs completed by Green Repairs Hub include a warranty against defects in parts and workmanship.
- Screen repairs: 6-month warranty
- Battery replacements: 6-month warranty
- Other component repairs: Warranty period advised at the time of service
The warranty ensures that the parts installed are free from manufacturing defects and that the repair was carried out correctly.
2.2 Consumer Rights
Our warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. These guarantees cannot be excluded and ensure that services are delivered with due care and parts are of acceptable quality.
3. What Is Not Covered
3.1 Accidental or Physical Damage
The warranty does not cover:
- Cracked screens
- New damage that occurs after the repair
- Drops, impact damage, or crushing
3.2 Liquid Damage
Opening a device during repair can compromise its original water resistance. Green Repairs Hub does not cover any water or liquid damage that occurs after a repair.
3.3 Third-Party Repairs
Any subsequent repair or tampering by another technician or repair shop voids the warranty.
3.4 Software Issues
- The warranty does not apply to:
- Software malfunctions
- Operating system errors
- Issues caused by third-party applications
- Problems unrelated to the repair performed
3.5 Other Exclusions
The warranty may be void if:
- The device could not be fully tested before or after repair
- The device’s serial/IMEI number does not match the original details provided
4. Customer Responsibilities Before Repair
4.1 Back Up Your Data
You are responsible for backing up all personal data before bringing your device in. Green Repairs Hub is not responsible for data loss during or after the repair process.
4.2 Remove Security Locks
Please remove passcodes, PINs, or biometric locks. These prevent proper testing of your device and may delay or affect the repair.
4.3 Understanding the Risks
By proceeding with a repair, you acknowledge that:
- Opening the device may reduce or eliminate any existing water-resistance
- You may not be entitled to a refund if you change your mind once the repair has begun
5. Making a Warranty Claim
To lodge a warranty claim, please:
- Contact Green Repairs Hub or bring the device in for assessment
- Provide proof of the original repair (receipt or invoice)
- Ensure the device has no new damage that may affect assessment
If the issue is confirmed to be a defect in parts or workmanship, Green Repairs Hub will repair or replace the faulty part at no cost.
6. Warranty Limitations
This warranty applies only to the specific part repaired or replaced. It does not cover unrelated issues or general device wear and tear.
