Warranty

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality, provided the failure does not amount to a major failure.

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, all repairs carried out by Green Repairs Hub are supported by a warranty against defects in parts and workmanship. Our repairs carry a 12-months defect warranty on parts and labour. If a covered fault arises within the warranty period, we will facilitate a repair, replacement of the faulty part, or refund at our discretion, without cost to you.

Kindly note the following regarding our warranty:

  • Warranty Coverage: The warranty covers defects in the replacement parts supplied and workmanship performed by Green Repairs Hub technicians only. It does not extend to the original device beyond the scope of the repair carried out.
  • Device Collection & Drop-off: Green Repairs Hub is not responsible for devices during transit. If you choose to post your device to us, we recommend using tracked and insured postage. We accept no liability for devices lost or damaged in transit.
  • Account-Locked Devices: Devices that are Apple iCloud locked, Google account locked, or protected by any other device lock cannot be accepted for repair until the lock is removed. We will notify you if a lock is detected. If the device remains locked after five business days, it will be returned to you as received.
  • Data Responsibility: Please back up all data before submitting your device for repair. Green Repairs Hub takes all reasonable care during repairs, however we accept no responsibility for any data loss that may occur during the repair process.
  • Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does not cover the following:
    • Physical damage occurring after the repair, including cracked screens, broken connectors, or impact damage
    • Water or liquid damage occurring after the repair
    • Faults unrelated to the original repair carried out
    • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications after collection
    • Software issues, viruses, or factory resets required after the repair
    • Consumable components subject to normal wear and tear
  • Voiding the Warranty: The warranty will be voided if the device is subsequently opened, tampered with, or repaired by any party other than Green Repairs Hub after our repair has been completed.
